Puppies are rehomed at 65/70 days of age along with a puppy kit, a health booklet detailing the deworming and vaccination schedule, a transfer/sales agreement, and an identifying microchip registered with the canine registry.
To book a puppy, it is essential for us to get to know the prospective owners, initially through a detailed telephone conversation and then in person. Our policy is to carefully select future owners to evaluate the home environment in which our puppies will live. Our kennel operates with a limited number of births for two reasons: the first is because the selection process almost always requires long periods of study, and the second, equally important, is to safeguard the well-being of our breeding females.
Puppies from the Mezzaluna Kennel are not given away, are not transferred to intermediaries or puppy dealers/resellers, are not sold through internet advertisements, nor are elderly females past breeding age rehomed.
