An important factor in the selection of this magnificent breed is health. Our breeding stock is subjected to DNA tests for the prevention of hereditary diseases and radiographic control for hereditary skeletal conditions: hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia.

The kennel has a long history and has established itself as a benchmark, paying attention not only to the aesthetic appearance but also to the health and temperament of the dogs.

Therefore, Mezzaluna is one of the kennels that has made a significant contribution to the development of the breed in Italy and has gained recognition within the canine community.
